2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
Here are some interpretations of this verse:
A "vessel for honor": is the extraordinary men and women who want to shine a light on His glory!
A special utensil: A special instrument that is ready for the Master to use for every good work.
A motive for pursuing holiness: A motive to pursue holiness of life and wage war against sins.
Good works: Good works that a vessel of honor might do include pursuing righteousness, faith, love, and peace, being kind to all, being able to teach, being patient when wronged, and correcting with gentleness.
Things to avoid: Things to avoid to be a vessel of honor include quarreling about words, worldly and empty chatter, youthful lusts, and foolish and ignorant speculations.
Below, I have listed some key points on how to be a "Vessel Unto Honour." I know there may be more to cover, so I will leave the rest to you. Please note that my writing may not be perfect, and my thoughts could be a bit scattered. However, I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to interpret the message directly to you in your own thoughts or language.
A message from the CEO and Founder David Avritt.

I want to thank everyone for the support and love you have shown us with CA Jail Outreach Organizations. We have made strides in helping inmates, family members of inmates, churches, and other organizations. Most importantly, I want to recognize all the individuals who are helping us out by participating in themes, challenges, and projects to improve our walk with the Lord.
You may have noticed by now that I don’t teach doctrine because I’m afraid I might get it wrong. I’ll leave that to those who are subject matter experts. I am simply a big fan of teaching the love of Christ and what He did here on earth. I do my best to replicate that to help others. The Word of God offers so much practical information we can use to live a better life and get closer to our Savior and our Heavenly Father. This is why I want to share this knowledge with you, the inmates, and their families.
I truly enjoy trying to be part of the vessel unto honor. Please take the time to read all the information. Let’s work together and be part of a vessel unto honor. I also share the same information through emails and counseling provided to help the inmates and their families so they can get closer to Jesus, the Word of God, and the Heavenly Father.

Here are some great principles that will help you become a better Christian and strive to be a "Vessel unto Honour."
19 Principles for Becoming a Vessel of Honor
1. **Be Born Again**
The first step to becoming a vessel of honor is to be born again. You cannot fulfill this role until you experience spiritual rebirth.
2. **Stay Away from Sin**
To meet the Master’s standard, you must avoid all appearances of sin.
3. **Flee Youthful Lusts**
"Flee also youthful lusts; but follow righteousness, faith, charity, and peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." (2 Timothy 2:22)
4. **Deactivate the Works of the Flesh**
To be a vessel of honor, you must eliminate the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21).
5. **Activate the Fruit of the Spirit**
The fruit of the Spirit must be evident in your life if you truly wish to be a vessel of honor (Galatians 5:22-23).
6. **Set Your Heart on the Things of God**
Many mighty vessels in the Bible, such as Moses, Noah, Abraham, Esther, and David, were deeply devoted to God. Your heart should be set on Him alone.
7. **Live a Life of Sanctification**
To be a vessel of honor, you should be sanctified and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Holiness and purification must be part of your lifestyle, as exemplified by figures like David and Joseph.
8. **Live a Purpose-Driven Life**
Understanding your purpose in life is crucial. Don’t wander aimlessly; let the Word of God guide you.
9. **Have a Vision**
Just as a mirror reflects the body, having a vision reflects your potential. This is key to meeting the Master's standard.
10. **Discover Your Area of Specialization**
You may not know your capabilities until you start exploring them. Discovering your niche is essential. For example, Joseph recognized his talent for interpreting dreams, which eventually led him to become prime minister.
11. **Do What You Know and Love Best**
Focus on what you are passionate about. God blesses the work of your hands when you are engaged in things you love. For instance, Peter was a professional fisherman before Jesus called him to be a fisher of men (Proverbs 18:16).
12. **Develop an Excellent and Fighting Spirit**
Daniel stood out due to his excellent spirit and resilience. Likewise, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego remained steadfast despite King Nebuchadnezzar's threats.
13. **Be Courageous**
Courage is crucial, as discouragement and opposition will arise. Focus on the voice of your defender rather than the noise of opposition.
14. **Accept Responsibility**
Own your actions and do not shy away from them. Facing your responsibilities is vital for growth and honor.
15. **Stay Focused**
To purge yourself as a vessel of honor, maintain focus. Avoid distractions and remain committed, dedicated, and determined. Focused individuals are more likely to succeed.
16. **Practice Self-Discipline**
Self-discipline is essential for anyone aiming to be a mighty vessel of honor. It involves doing what is right regardless of convenience. Surround yourself with purposeful individuals to nurture your own purpose.
17. **Fellowship with God**
Knowing God is life’s greatest asset. The closer you are to Him, the more you will discover your true purpose. Engage in fellowship through prayer, fasting, studying the Word, and attending church.
18. **Have the Fear of God**
To be a vessel of honor, you must cultivate the fear of God, which is the beginning of wisdom. This fear stems from a deep reliance on God and confidence in His faithfulness.
19. **Kill Procrastination**
Procrastination is detrimental and must be addressed. Do not delay; act promptly. The best time to start anything is now.
It's time to wrap this up.
